I suppose it would be stretching the book volunteer’s normal definition of the term to call these ‘books’. However, I can cut out the pages, without a moment’s regret, bundle them up and see if they’ll sell in Oxfam Wilmslow. Gorgeous silks, silk velvet, sumptuous embroidery and plush plush. What a treat for our creative customers.
